Woke up around 4:15 this morning in a fairly blah mood. At least my back wasn't screaming as loudly as it has been. Heck, about all I could do yesterday was knit. At least Patrick and I will be signing the legal paperwork tomorrow and everything that encompasses will finally be underway. This includes getting our vehicle inspected and repaired. It also includes getting some seriously overdue medical treatment without fear of ruined credit and/or going bankrupt. Arkansas law has this nasty little catch where if an injured party pays out-of-pocket for any accident-related expense it's considered an admission of guilt. The report from the Highway Patrol clearly indicates otherwise.
Moving right along... Been talking lately with an old friend from the Love Tribe days, Danny Biondo. I'd looked for the guys, off and on, for a few years. In some cosmic Higher Powered way, getting adopted by them back in late '93 helped keep me in the incomprehensible freak show that was my then-life as I sunk ever deeper into insanity.
The hell that is addiction has already taken one of our brothers, drummer extraordinaire, Spin Spurr. Found some old videos out of Paragon in College Park, Maryland. They were shot before some lineup changes. It's not the first time I've found deceased friends on YouTube, but it certainly was the most difficult to handle.
Rest in peace, Spin. If that doesn't appeal to you (as I'm sure it doesn't), you and C.J. are always welcome at my 30 acres of Heaven in the Ozarks.
I'd wanted to add more to this entry, but I'm back on active Mommy Duty.
Ciao for now. ♥
